Tourists become scientists with AI

To protect the Great Barrier Reef, we’re turning tourists into scientists. By capturing and uploading photos of the world’s largest coral reef, the images can be analyzed at rapid speed thanks to Dell’s Deep Learning model and AI. In doing so, marine conservationists can determine which sections of the reef are in danger, allowing them to preserve the ecosystem more efficiently than ever before.
